A truly first-class product, constructed from 100% recycled fine-grain rubber crumb, for stunning looks, maximum strength, comfort and longevity. Weighing in at 58kg, this base makes for a stable and reassuring platform, giving the golfer plenty of room to swing with complete confidence and comfort.
Being a modular frame, it is delivered in quarters to avoid those punishing carriage charges. This also allows for ease of storage and transportation on site. Installation is simple. One person can carry and install a system; there is no longer any need for a weightlifter on each corner. A frame can be assembled securely in minutes. It will hold its shape for short repositioning manoeuvres, and can easily be disassembled for relocation to a different bay. For maximum security, and to prevent golfers from changing the angles of the mats, we highly recommend fixing the assembled frame to the floor with anchor bolts.
The FAT-MAT frame will accept any 150x150 mat, giving you the option to match any of our premium quality turfs with our premium quality frame and ball tray.
The best thing about the modular design is the upgrade possibilities. Most golfers love a variety of mat scenarios to help improve their game. The FAT-MAT allows you to extend the dimensions of the frame to add in a separate 150x30 tee turf strike mat, or even two strike mats to cater for left and right-handed players in the same bay - perfect for gaming technology. This offers the ultimate practice platform. Play off the standard mat for forgiving, repetitive, muscle memory shots; or play off the tee turf for ultra-realistic, accurate feedback shots, lovely for iron and wedge work.
